Ben Wilson

ben wilson This is the blog of a one Ben Wilson, a Louisville, Kentucky native who enjoys baseball, beer, music, bikes, things that fly and good food. By day he pushes pixels and makes the Internet happen for a local advertising agency. His wife, Kelly is an Ironman, and his baby Amelia is the cutest thing ever.

Manipulate Shatner on the bridge of the Enterprise! Make him say naughty things like “Fondle me Klingons!” Ahaha! It’s great. And it’s right here.

CNN is running a story about a little
plastic keychain attached device that
will allow gays to covertly find one
another (within 50 ft). Also, gay
bashers will be able to pinpoint their
attacks. (But i’m sure that isn’t the intended usage). The story is here here. It’s in RealVideo, too. Neato.

Apparently, AOL sent (actually, parachuted) one of their directors into a Columbian Rebel held town, where he and the FARC leader swapped baseball caps. It’s all very weird, and it’s all right here.

Slashdot is running a story about the Secret Service and a raid on Steve Jackson Games ten years ago. SJ Games’ account of it is here. It is an interesting read into how paranoid the government was (is) about technology it had (has) no control or information about.

Well, Kathie Lee has officially split the long-running (too long running) morning schmooze-fest known as Regis and Kathie-Lee (or, more recently, Regis and WhotheHellGivesaShit). Well, Regis will continue on, branching out from his moonlighting job with a morning show, Who Wants to Be An Annoying Sidekick. I can’t wait. The story is here.
