  <description>During these tense times, Google
News has been a good friend. When I'm extremely busy, I can just go
      to the The Iraqometer.

  <description>Going Wireless: With the help
of my friend/neighbor, I have set up a wireless network to share his DSL
Internet connection (and for gaming, why not?) and it's working pretty well.
If it continues to work well I am planning on telling the phone company
      to go away.

It's not for kids but I want to give a quick shout out to Augenblick
Studios for raising the bar on Flash animation.

Since it will be celebrated this weekend, I'm going to wish my gentle readers
      a Happy
St. Patrick's Day a little early.

<description>Before I got cable TV I thought that I would enjoy Battlebots.
I was wrong. Suggestion: More computer-controlled bots; less radio-controlled
circular saws. For more interesting RC combat, try The
      Australian Battle Group Inc.
